DarkestHour Pro can watch your saved observing sites and flag rare clear windows, aurora, ISS or Starlink passes — so you only gear up when conditions are actually worth it.

Automated alert delivery is not live yet. The alert preference is captured now and will be activated during the Pro rollout. You will not receive automated alerts until confirmed.
Clear-sky alerts
Flag a rare break in cloud for a saved site, within your drive radius.
Aurora alerts
Notify when Kp and local sky conditions suggest a visible aurora at your saved location.
ISS & Starlink alerts
Visible satellite passes calibrated to your exact site and ambient sky darkness.

A single week-ahead recommendation: which night and site combo looks most worth planning around.
How it works
You run the Tonight check from your observing site, pick the alert types you want, confirm your email, and we capture the preference. When automated delivery goes live during the Pro rollout, saved-place alerts will fire when conditions match. Until then the preference is held and you will not be spammed.
